Gate to Deep Space

Years ago, the Deep Space Base launched the "Space Gate" project to explore alternate dimensions for a new human home, but accidentally opened a rift to the Harvesters' lair. Project lead Lin Shen vanished and was officially declared dead. Years later, teenager Lin Ye infiltrates the base to find his father, clashing fiercely with the black-clad commander guarding the site. In a crisis, the missing Lin Shen suddenly appears, revealing buried conspiracies and truths. Facing an impending alien catastrophe, the father and son set aside their rift, temporarily ally with former enemies, and ultimately seal the Space Gate at the cost of self-destructing the base, saving humanity.
