Karma Convenience Store

In a past life, the treacherous concubine Jiang Saixue was rescued from the无间地狱 by the Immortal Pavilion and sent back to the mortal realm. Her penance condition is to operate a Karma Convenience Store in Haji City, Northeast China. She accepts blessings as payment, solving bizarre human affairs, ghostly obsessions, the revenge of a wronged female worker, a wealthy family's ancestral curse, a bizarre case of a child murdering their mother, and the mystery of a shadow puppet stealing goods. Behind every transaction lies the flow of karma. When the millennial enemy, the Witch God, reappears, the past truths are revealed in blood. Is the immortal Bai Jiu, who has always watched her from behind the scenes, her overseer of penance or the creditor of fate? In this life, she will not cultivate immortality nor fall to demonhood; she will simply walk her own path in the mortal world.
