Love for the Nine Thousand Year Old

In the palace, Empress Lu Pianpian and her family met a tragic end amidst flames. Upon reopening her eyes, she discovers they have all transmigrated into a novel. To return to their original world, she is forced to accept a task from the Underworld: win the heart of the male lead, Shen Yan, or face the erasure of her entire family. Shen Yan is a cold and aloof business tycoon who was once the powerful Nine Thousand Year Old, obsessed with the Empress in a past life. However, he has lost his memories from that era and is currently proposing divorce to his wife, Lu Pianpian. The story of a欢喜冤家 (clash of opposites) begins. While Lu Pianpian teaches her family to adapt to modern life, she stubbornly pursues Shen Yan. Eventually, Shen Yan's memories from a thousand years ago are awakened, allowing them to resolve their misunderstandings and unleash a passion that spans centuries.
