Wudang disciple Lin Qi descends the mountain to marry upon his master's orders. After saving Huo Ruhai, he temporarily stays at the Shanhai Martial Arts Hall. Impressed by his ability to lift a ten-thousand-pound鼎, Huo Ning'er regards him as a destined hero. During the challenge match, he defeats a powerful enemy. At the martial arts tournament, he uncovers the Wuhutian Sect's conspiracy. Sect Master Yue Shan Gang kidnaps Huo Ning'er to steal her dragon marrow and phoenix body. Lin Qi ultimately kills Yue Shan Gang, rescues Huo Ning'er, and the two get married, bringing peace back to Jiangcheng.
