Flying Feather: Wild Ride 1978

In 1978, amidst the reform and opening-up wave, grassroots Lin Haichao raised his siblings alone, surviving by wandering the streets. After an accident, his half-stone cake was snatched by Shen Hongmei; when wooden beads on their necks aligned, a childhood betrothal was revealed. Shen Hongmei, despite a troubled past, possessed a photographic memory and exceptional calculation skills. Becoming business partners, they seized the 'feather-for-sugar' opportunity, starting with scrap collection. Overcoming relatives' hostility and competitors' suppression, they jointly founded a button factory. Qin Baozhu, the daughter of the Qin family in Haicheng, fell in love with Lin Haichao due to competition, but after her advances were rejected, she viciously suppressed him. Lin Haichao and Shen Hongmei united to break the deadlock, achieving a comeback and writing a legendary struggle of grassroots people defying fate and sticking to their original intentions.
