Her Majesty Wants to Cook, Not Serve

Gu Qinghuan accidentally travels to ancient times as an unmarried heiress of a Grand Secretary and becomes a concubine to secure her future. Initially wanting to live a low-key life, she gets entangled in the complex dynamics between the Emperor, the Empress, and the Noble Consort. Using her culinary skills, she befriends the Empress and Noble Consort, opens a cake shop to support the border war efforts, and ultimately discovers at the grand coronation that this entire journey was a farewell illusion crafted by her real-life friends. They died in a gas explosion, so they used a special cross-dimensional script granted by the underworld to accompany her through this healing adventure and help her regain the courage to live.
