Return to the Mountains

After five years of retirement, Ye Wudao returns to the city to present a wedding invitation to his fiancée, Chen Yazi. Disappointed by the low bride price, Chen Yazi and her mother raise the demand during the wedding procession, but Ye Wudao cannot meet it due to frozen assets. When Xu Ling'er begs for mercy, she is humiliated by Chen Yazi. Realizing his true love is Xu Ling'er, Ye Wudao proposes to her; she agrees to save his face, only to be stopped by her parents. At the Crystal Palace Hotel, Ye Wudao disciplines his bullying classmates, acquires the hotel, supports Ren Susu's career, and cleans up the hospital cafeteria. Watching him from afar, Chen Yazi regrets her actions. When the Shen family arrives, Ye Wudao summons Shen Fengchun and reveals his identity. Amidst these events, his fate and the tangled relationships of everyone around him become increasingly complex and unpredictable.
