My Spirit Beast Evolves on Charge

College student Chen Mo has awakened his ability for three years but cannot sense spiritual energy or form contracts with spirit beasts, earning him the mocking nickname 'Zero Beast Boy'. Late at night, he finds a rusty iron egg in an abandoned factory behind the mountain. After bringing it back to his dorm, the egg cracks open, revealing a mechanical T-Rex the size of a palm. This little guy doesn't eat spirit stones; instead, it consumes metal and electricity, growing stronger on his dorm's power bill and capable of transforming into a miniature mech suit to protect him. When the Ability Competition begins, the champion gets a full ride to the Ability Bureau. Chen Mo enters the tournament, summoning his mechanical dragon to the ridicule of the crowd. While his opponents unleash a thunder wolf to attack with lightning, the mechanical dragon absorbs the electricity and counters, stunning everyone with a single battle.
