Betraying Buddha, Loving You

Jiang Wan is the neglected and bullied second daughter of the Jiang family, whose mother was forced to death by her stepmother Xu Zhaodi and her half-sister Jiang Yan. Trapped in an attic since childhood and enduring humiliation, she actively participates in the Yan family garden's 'selection' event to seduce Yan Linchuan, the heir who is ascetic and has practiced Buddhism since youth. Struggling between revenge and true love, while Yan Linchuan wavers between his Buddhist heart and worldly desires, they move from mutual exploitation to falling for each other. Together, they confront the Jiang family's conspiracy, uncover the truth behind their mother's death years ago, heal one another, and finally find true love.
