I'm a Cultivation Master, Why Is This Xianxia?

Cultivator Lin Xuan accidentally transmigrates to a high martial arts world where he is suppressed by the Heavenly Dao and cannot fight at full strength. While traveling among humans, he saves his grand-nephew Leng Yue Ru, learns that his senior disciple Hong Tianjiao was killed by villains, and uncovers the political schemes of Empress Fei Yao. Determined to resurrect his beloved disciple and uncover the truth, Lin Xuan meets the nine-tailed demon empress Bai Lingyun. Together, they thwart the demon sect leader Li Chunfeng's conspiracy to ally with outer-world demons and overthrow the world. Using immortal power to protect both humans and demons, he upholds his master-disciple bond and the right path, ultimately breaking the deadlock to ensure peace for all living beings.
