Record of the Servant Ascending to Immortality

After encountering two severely injured cultivators in the rear mountain, Li Tiandan finds them arguing and vying for his help to eliminate each other, promising him cultivation techniques and treasures. Unwilling to get involved, he takes advantage of their dying moments to steal their storage rings, vast amounts of silver, and a strange black stone. Once the stone recognizes its master through blood, it hides in his mind, and the two cultivators vanish on the spot. Back home, Li Tiandan dedicates himself to cultivation but faces mockery from local children and scolding from his mother. Late at night, despite failing to properly use the immortality artifacts he has studied, he remains determined to seek out a master, swear to learn the arts, and finally break free from the despised poverty of his life.
