My Autobiography Can't Be Tragic

Insurance salesman Meng Lang unexpectedly receives an autobiography that updates its future predictions based on his actions, revealing a tragic path of debt, gastric cancer, family destruction, paralysis, suicide, and wrongful imprisonment. To break his destined death, he uses the book's foresight to reverse-engineer his life: shorting the stock market, outsmarting the richest man, investing in a biotech firm, winning the heart of an ice-cold female lawyer, supporting a business tycoon's comeback, and becoming a lifelong rent-free tenant of a martial arts master landlord. Just as he believes he has defied fate, the autobiography reveals a ultimate crisis: twenty years later, the 'Madman Plague' apocalypse will sweep the globe.
