Jianbing Guozi and Xia Tian create a touching post-apocalyptic short film titled My Rust-Proof Heart, featuring no dialogue and relying solely on visuals to express their bond. Amidst an infected isolated city, soldier Roy has remained alone for half a century, keeping his mission despite his body rusting. Experimental escapee NZ-0118 enters the ruins; though the isolation device prevents them from touching, they stay together, sharing feelings via a CD. When pursuers arrive, the girl sacrifices herself to protect him. The device shatters, allowing them finally to embrace. In this rust-covered wasteland, they embody the gentle persistence that the world may rot, but love remains rust-proof. Amidst total decay and rust, only pure love and unwavering integrity remain, never fading through the ages.
