Mr. Lu, Rose Threw the Table Again: Thorns

After Lu Yaoyao's engagement proposal from Fu Jingce is interrupted by Wen Ling and subsequently abandoned, she meets Lu Shiyie while being stalked and uses the encounter to gain his attention. Following a false accusation by Wen Ling, she breaks up with Fu Jingce once the truth comes out. Confronted with her grandmother's ancestral home pressuring her into an arranged marriage, she sets the house on fire to make her stance clear and saves the severely injured Lu Shiyie in the flames, using the opportunity to force him into an impromptu marriage. In their marriage, Lu Shiyie uses his image of doting on his wife to ward off other suitors and help her recover her grandmother's belongings, while Lu Yaoyao sets a trap to send Wen Ling to prison. On the celebration night, after getting drunk and confessing her true feelings, they begin to fall for each other. When Lu Shiyie is framed by his family, she uncovers the conspiracy and rescues him, admitting their love at the critical moment. Finally, Lu Shiyie helps her uncover the truth behind her mother's death.
