Empress Dowager Returns, Ungrateful Descendants Tremble

Yuan Xi, the Holy Virtue Empress Dowager, is reborn during her grandson Yuan Fu's reign. As Yuan Fu is bewitched by Concubine Xu, the court descends into chaos and border conflicts intensify. Upon returning to the palace, Yuan Xi first resolves the influence of Concubine Xu on Yuan Fu, halts the construction of the Star-Picking Tower, abolishes the Emperor's power, and places the Crown Prince in charge of state affairs. She then personally travels to Jin to mediate between the two nations, exposes the true faces of traitorous generals, and encourages female warriors to fight honorably on the battlefield. Ultimately, the villains are brought to justice, the drug fields are destroyed, and the court regains clarity.
