Yu Xian

Young Yu Xian learns that the village's sacred elm, recently cut down, is actually his mother who sacrificed herself to forge his cultivation foundation and grant him a destiny of immortality. Burdened by blood feuds and the grace of his mother, he enters the cultivation world using her teachings but faces persecution due to his inferior wood spiritual root. At the White Cloud Sect, he is suppressed by the powerful Dao Elder and his disciple Liu Qinghe, forcing him to work as a miner in the Hundred Mines. In adversity, he uses his mother's jade pendant to find resources, tirelessly cultivates, and reveals his talent in alchemy, earning the recognition of the Alchemy Sect Master Xiao Wusheng who adopts him as a favored disciple. When the Ascension Edict appears, Yu Xian will face his nemesis Liu Qinghe and elites from the Six Great Sects in the Ascension Secret Realm, standing firm in his path amidst blood and fire.
