I Was Called a Hero by the Righteous

Modern office worker Lin Yuan transmigrates to become the feared master of the Demon Sect, only to be bound by a system that forces him to do good instead of ruling as a demon. His senior disciple Chu Yun, known for his overactive imagination, constantly helps the protagonist cover up mistakes, creating comedic situations. The story begins when Lin Yuan is forced to release the Righteous Saintess Qing Yue, kicking off the main plot. Together, they resolve conflicts between the righteous and the demons, counter the hidden ancient demon forces, and uncover a massive conspiracy involving the Supreme Ancestor's attempt to use beast tattoos for ascension and Wusheng's plan to seal the demons. While completing mandatory system tasks, Lin Yuan unites the righteous, mortals, and some demon clans on a journey to save the world.
