Stranded in the Dark

Shang Ning, an estranged daughter, becomes the bodyguard for Song Yechen. At their engagement party, she is framed and unexpectedly meets Song Beiyuan, the tycoon of Gangcheng, from which she is burdened with rumors. While others mock her humble origins, only Song Beiyuan remembers the life-saving kindness from ten years ago. He defies all opposition to publicly propose, gaining support from the Song family patriarch. Despite schemes by Xu Qingyan and Song Yechen to make her life difficult, Song Beiyuan always protects her. Shang Ning once suspected she was merely a pawn, unaware that the cold president has harbored his feelings for years, with his heart belonging only to her.
