Rebirth 91: My Rise Starts with Drawing Lots

Sun Liping is reborn in 1991. When his brothers draw lots to decide who goes to university, he sees his older brother tampering with the process to secure his own spot. Without hesitation, Sun tears up the slip. He vows to turn his family's fortunes around by selling wontons! Setting up a stall outside the Red Star Factory, his Jiangnan wontons make southern employees cry with delight. He also bravely catches a thief and earns praise. Switching to a converted tricycle for a mobile stall, he recruits disabled people as key staff, even earning support from a beautiful female cadre at the Administration for Industry and Commerce. From an unlicensed vendor to opening a chain, building a frozen factory, and establishing a cold chain, he eventually opens supermarkets across the province. With one bowl of wonton, he earns a fortune and wins the heart of a beautiful woman!
