Taking Charge at Home

For the first time, Huo Qinglan visits her son Huo Chengyu and daughter-in-law Lin Wan's new home, only to face a humiliating scene. The arrogant mistress Shen Weiwei mistakes Huo Qinglan for Lin Wan, demands a divorce from Huo Chengyu with three million yuan, and exposes the son's years of insincerity toward his wife. Suppressing her anger, Huo Qinglan pretends to be weak to gather information, discovering that her son not only uses her money to support the mistress but also tolerates Shen's abuse of the main wife. After the butler Lin Bo steps in to save the day, Shen Weiwei leaves with a threat to be kicked out of the Huo family within three days. Immediately, Huo Qinglan sends Lin Wan out for some fresh air and decides to personally deal with this pair of insolent people.
