Golden Cicada Escape
Chen Hao, a wealthy businessman from Southeast Asia, is betrayed by his wife and brother-in-law, falsely imprisoned and sentenced to life in the legendary Black Sea Prison where escape is said to be impossible. When his wife visits, he expects her to clear his name, but instead discovers she has colluded with her brother-in-law. Worse still, he learns his seven-year-old daughter, suffering from a terminal illness, has been abandoned by them to the countryside to die alone. With only seven days left to live, Chen Hao breaks down, is beaten by his captors, and thrown back into the cell. Gazing at his daughter's photograph, he resolves to escape and save her.
