A Pact With the Gods

To save her grandmother, Qin Wanyu marries the severely injured Ji Shubai by proxy. On their wedding day, he passes away. The Lord of the Spirit Realm is summoned by Qin Wanyu during an exorcism and takes possession of Ji Shubai's body, reviving him. The two form a blood pact, sharing sensations and life. The Lord needs physical contact with her to restore his spiritual power, so he stays in the human world as Ji Shubai to face the Qin family's harassment, his brother's attempt to seize the inheritance, and the vengeful spirits lurking in the shadows.
