Mystery Cases of Dayuan: I Solve Ancient Crimes

Top crime psychologist Shen Ye transmigrates to Dayuan, starting as a condemned prisoner. Using micro-expression profiling and criminal psychology, he identifies the real killer on the spot and is saved by Chu Qingqiu of the Tianyuan Bureau. He teams up with forensic expert Qin Wan'er, inventor Mo Ban, and wealthy young master Tang Jiujiu to solve a series of bizarre cases, including a locked-room murder, a headless blood coffin, and a sacrificial human self-combustion, while digging into the cult's Blood Floating Pagoda. The mastermind behind the scenes is Yuan, a high-intelligence criminal from the same timeline as Shen Ye, who has set up a series of assassinations in the court. In the final battle at the Heaven Altar, Shen Ye kills Yuan's avatar but discovers he is merely a pawn, as the Abyss's conspiracy continues. A hint of Shen Ye's modern coma foreshadows a greater crisis.
