General Returns Home
Fifteen years ago, Mu Ying and his mother, Li Sanniang, were separated due to bandit raids and adopted by General Zhu Hongying. Fifteen years later, now a celebrated Zhennan Prince, he returns home to build a palace and find his biological parents. While his mother works as a maid in the magistrate's mansion and faces several near-misses in recognizing each other, she is eventually forced to relocate by her evil relatives. Mu Ying steps forward to save her, allowing them to reunite through a token. He then punishes the wicked relatives and corrupt officials, while protecting his fiancée, Cai Yuzhen, who has always treated his mother kindly, leading to a happy family reunion.
