I Am Chen Fusheng

Encouraged by Cao Jianjia, Chen Fusheng, a villager from Zhang Village, sets out alone to the south with the goal of marrying a wife for his brother, Chen Fugui. Starting as a waiter at a restaurant, he fights off troublemaking hooligans, works part-time at a bar, and befriends Jianghu figures Wang Husheng and Wang Jiefang. After conflicts with Xiongzi force him to leave, he meets various characters including Wei Danggong, Fang Jie, and Chen Yuanshu. Following Wei Danggong's death, Chen Fusheng becomes entangled in power struggles but, with support from his allies, overcomes numerous crises.
