He Shines in the Capital, I Bury You When You Return

Pei Huan, once a prince, was demoted after his mother's clan was destroyed. His beloved Fu Jingwu, desperate to help him regain his throne, was forced to marry the political rival, Prince Rui, and drink the poison 'Liesong Powder' on his behalf. Five years later, Pei Huan leads an army into the capital but misunderstands Fu Jingwu, treating her with coldness and humiliation while favoring the blue crane she saved. Fu Jingwu dies in bitterness, her soul lingering in the mortal world to witness Pei Huan's regret after Prince Rui reveals the truth, discovers her letter of sacrifice, and realizes his mistake. To atone, Pei Huan posthumously ennobles Fu Jingwu as Empress, fights to protect the people, and prays for 3,000 days to aid her reincarnation. Ultimately, the reincarnated Fu Jingwu does not forget Pei Huan; they meet again in a peach blossom forest, their souls reunited, leaving behind a deep bond that transcends life and death.
