Imposter Emperor
Modern spy Zhou Xuan dies after being betrayed by his team and transmigrates into the Great Zhou Dynasty, becoming a puppet eunuch kidnapped by Empress Dowager Qin Youlan from a neighboring country and impersonating the deceased emperor. In the court, Prime Minister Lin Tianzhong and Minister of War Wang Yu conspire to force the emperor and accuse him of faking his identity. Zhou Xuan publicly executes a witness to establish authority and uses a stabbing incident to remove Lin Yue, the Prime Minister's nephew, from his position as commander of the Imperial Guard. When Lin Tianzhong proposes letting his daughter Lin Ruoxi sleep with him for verification, Zhou Xuan happily agrees and counters the plot. The next day at court, he directly appoints Lin Ruoxi as the Imperial Consort, skillfully resolving the crisis. The Empress Dowager is shocked by the imposter's imperial aura, and the struggles within the harem and the court are just beginning.
