Wind Rises, Ashes Ring

On a snowy night outside the border, Huo Xianyang's coffin returns to the city. Wan Yang cuts her palm, dripping blood before the seven-star lamp to swear an exchange of lives, hoping for his longevity cultivation to succeed. As the flame turns green, her black hair instantly turns white. Before her seventh day, she walks through the snow to support the coffin, but at the border city's lantern market, she sees Huo Xianyang holding hands with a foreign princess, his eyes soft as he pins a snowfluff hairpin for her. Blood drips from Wan Yang's fingertips, staining the white silk, and she whispers through tears, 'It turns out my life is only worth your fleeting romance.' The cold wind rolls the snow, hiding her stumbling figure.
