Broken Branches Never Break

Detective Zhou Qingzhun, known for his many faces, is framed by the trusted Crown Prince Li Ye as a scapegoat. Saved from a life-or-death situation by the commander of the Northern City Bureau, Zhang Xiaomei, Zhou Qingzhun, a life of sorrow with no one to rely on, gradually falls for the hidden tenderness of Zhang Xiaomei. Burdened by family responsibilities, Zhang Xiaomei endures and restrains herself, yet she can never let go of Zhou Qingzhun. Chains separate the two, but they keep moving forward just to be together for a moment. As plum blossoms fall in the snow, the cold branches may break, but she will cross life and death to meet him again.
