Scent of Peach Blossoms and Wind

Ning Tao, the eldest daughter of the prestigious Ning family known for its incense-making heritage, was raised by a wet nurse after her mother's early death. Possessing an exceptional sense of smell and unparalleled incense-making skills, she is treated as royalty by her stepmother, who fears any harm to her. While everyone claims she is spoiled and difficult, making her an unlucky choice for any suitor, her younger sister Ning Zhi is kind and obedient, having already wed Prince He Tingxu of the Nanchen Kingdom. However, after Prince He was injured on the racetrack and fell into a coma lasting three months, even the imperial physicians declared him a living corpse. Desperate to save her sister, Ning Tao voluntarily offers to take her place as the bride for the Northern Prince's Mansion, and she also pledges her devoted shadow guard to serve as Ning Zhi's protection.
