This Beggar Is No Pushover

Pride of the prestigious Xiao family, Xiao Wensnow, bathes when her servant reports finding the little boy who once helped her, now a beggar. She rushes to him immediately. Li Tianming begs on the street until the villain Wei Ba knocks over his bowl. His eyes darken as he declares, "You dare provoke the King of the Underworld? That's suicide," and plans to poison Wei Ba. Just then, Xiao Wensnow appears in stunning attire and kneels in the street to propose to Li Tianming. He accepts and returns with her to the Xiao family, only for the family to erupt in rage, believing she has disgraced them.
