In the Great Zhou Dynasty, the Yue Tribe is a secluded clan at peace with the world, possessing the twin miracle flowers 'Fortune and Conception'. The white petals help women conceive, while the black petals grant innate charm and an intoxicating scent. Empress Xu Hui, seeking the Emperor's favor, colludes with the Xu family army to massacre the Yue Tribe and seize the white flowers. Yue Tribe girl Jiang Lanqing escapes by swallowing a black flower, disguises herself as an eunuch, and enters the palace determined to avenge her people.
