Millennium Sleep: How the Human World Became Haunted Again

After sealing the hundred ghosts, Ye Linxi fell into a slumber in the River of Oblivion a thousand years ago. Upon waking, she descends to the mortal realm to search for a lost fragment of her soul, only to find the world far from peaceful. In Yong'an City, wooden lotus statues harbor dark energy; in the Miao territory, puppets trigger strange occurrences; in an unnamed village, villagers sacrifice newborn girls to appease a spirit attached to a stone doll; and in New Long City, Liu Song manipulates the evil deity Black Hidden Bodhisattva to amass wealth through safety certificates and take lives. Finally, Ye Linxi tracks the female ghost into the Wei family mansion, where she discovers the imposter using Li Yueying's identity to rescue someone within a mirror world. It turns out all these events point to a single mastermind behind the scenes.
