The Wangs of Langya

Modern PhD Wang Yang and four companions time travel to the eighth year of Yongming in the Southern Qi Dynasty, immediately facing a survival crisis of exposure. During a conflict with border guards, his companions die one after another, and Wang Yang is falsely accused of being a northern spy, trapped in a deadly situation. Relying on his profound knowledge of history and literature, he impersonates a scion of the top aristocratic family, the Wangs of Langya, to intimidate the guards and use them to eliminate threats, thereby stabilizing the situation.
