Revenge in the Famine: I Enrich My Deaf Wife

Gu Yan travels back to 1983 during a famine, becoming a destitute hooligan who must survive alongside his deaf wife, Lin Xue, and his younger sister-in-law, Lin Mei. Facing immediate crises including starvation, the forced sale of Lin Xue and her sister by their father, and debt collectors, Gu Yan uses his past martial arts skills to hunt for food. He earns money by selling wild game and herbs, successfully curing Lin Xue's speech impediment. Later, he befriends pharmacy owner Shen Lili, establishing a long-term partnership on medicinal supplies and profiting from a joint venture on wound-healing formulas, while also helping villagers increase their income through herbal gathering.
