Twenty years after the Great Yan Dynasty, Chen San ranks among the top ten swordsmen at Wudang but faces a sky rift as the Black Wing Clan invades with an army, slaughtering the people. The Martial King sacrifices himself to seal the passage, buying humanity twenty more years, while the cowardly Chen San flees and hides in Qingstone Town. Twenty years later, the Black Wing Clan returns. To protect his son and villagers, Chen San reignites his sword heart, uniting forces to fight the alien race. He overcomes his inner demons, mastering a sword path blending hardness and softness. Finally, he battles the restored alien leader in the imperial capital, winning through balance and safeguarding the Cloud Sea Continent. After the disaster, to prevent further invasions, Chen San decides to journey beyond the sky to explore the unknown.
