Repaying Love, Severing Ties

In the 1980s, Cheng Hai, the pioneer of precision technology, stayed at the struggling Hongxing Machinery Plant to repay his mentor's kindness and support young factory director Zhong Lin. Over three years, he navigated treacherous waters and overcame countless obstacles, helping Hongxing become a leading enterprise in the region. However, on the day Cheng Hai returned to lead the R&D team, he discovered a fresh university graduate had taken his place. With only seven days left before his three-year commitment to lift Zhong Lin ended, he resolutely departed. When Zhong Lin realized Cheng had completely left and regretted her actions, she tried to find him, but by then, the two had become strangers.
