Back to 1990

Zhang Yining, clutching Lin Bo's medical report with complex emotions, returns home. Just as she prepares to open the door, she hears Lin Bo's mother viciously curse Zhang Yining for being unable to conceive, while Lin Bo and Xu Qingqing comfort their mother. It turns out Xu Qingqing is pregnant. Zhang Yining rushes inside to confront them. The mother gives a vague response, and Xu Qingqing smashes a vase at her, arrogantly claiming she once killed Zhang Yining's mother and threatening that Zhang Yining has no way out. Unable to endure the humiliation, Zhang Yining faints. When she opens her eyes again, she finds herself back in her own house in 1990.
