This original epic chronicles the birth of a new species amid an apocalyptic disaster. After an anomalous black rain, inexplicable life changes emerge beneath the city. Initially marked by isolated disappearances and strange noises, giant ants soon tear open underground passages, revealing a hidden new ecosystem. Insects, fish, and countless other creatures are rewritten by unknown forces, evolving in size, behavior, and survival methods.
