Mistaken Love in Midsummer

Xu Mingyue refuses to rely on her family's fame, choosing a low-key school life and asking her father for only a brief accompaniment during registration. Her boyfriend, Lu Jiahao, dismisses her based on his superficial judgment of her ordinary background, growing distant from her to instead bond with her glamorous roommate, An Xinyue. The two spread false rumors about Xu Mingyue. Later, Xu Mingyue establishes a scholarship fund in her family company's name. At the award ceremony, she openly reveals her financial situation, exposing the hypocrisy of their constant comparison and baseless gossip. Both are subsequently punished for their prejudice and false statements.
