Dog Curse

In an isolated village, Liu Xiaocui lives alone with her loyal dog Ah Huang, her only emotional anchor after marrying far away. After her husband Wang Kai falls into a coma from gambling, a barefoot doctor claims Ah Huang is spiritual and can repay kindness, prompting the ignorant in-laws to plan killing the dog to 'nourish' their son. Liu Xiaocui desperately tries to stop them but is drugged by her mother-in-law. When she wakes, Ah Huang has been killed and eaten. This tragedy shatters Liu Xiaocui, driving her into madness, while Wang family's misfortune has just begun—a sinister curse quietly attaches the moment the first bite of the dog meat is taken.
