The Deceptive Bride

College student Shu Ruochu brings four classmates back to the village for cultural research, intending to document local customs, but accidentally gets entangled in a ritual for the Face-Bearing Bear to propose marriage. Her brother, Shu Xian, tries to dissuade them but cannot stop the group from scoffing at the legend. As strange events unfold one after another—including the arrival of the betrothal gifts, the mysterious deaths of villagers, the sudden attack of thick fog, and the procession of the flower sedan—everyone gradually falls into panic.
