Fox Bride

A village legend claims that a fox bride brings death. As the night wedding music plays, the Lin family suffers strange occurrences, including paper shoes and a shadow bride. Pregnant wife Zhao Guihua suffers nightmares, while Elder Lin spreads rumors of a fox spirit's revenge and Aunt Zhang fuels the fire, leading to the Lin family's isolation. Believing in no ghosts, Lin Kui investigates and discovers clues pointing to Cheng San, who has a grudge against them. After signs of premature labor appear, Lin Kui sets a trap to expose Cheng San's conspiracy of fabricating supernatural events and inciting villagers over a land dispute. Cheng San is caught, Guihua gives birth safely, and the villagers realize their mistake.
