You Are The Light In The Snow

Lu Chengyuan, the son of the Grand Marshal, falls in love with commoner Xu Yan and lives in hiding with her. Just before Xu Yan gives birth, she saves Lin Juan, who is also pregnant, but is instead killed, leaving Lu Chengyuan heartbroken over the loss of his wife and daughter. Five years later, Lu Chengyuan, now the Commander-in-Chief, accidentally helps a street beggar named Bao Bao and discovers she is his own daughter. He finds that his wife Xu Yan has survived.
