Theater Makeup, Rivers and Mountains

Shen Mohong is the top opera performer and troupe master of Yun City. She appears gentle but possesses a resilient and decisive heart, with deep patriotism. Combining the integrity of an opera artist with the courage of a warrior, she was once deceived and exploited by Li Xiu, becoming a political sacrifice who died tragically in a theater fire. Reborn three years prior, she vows revenge and to prevent Yun City's fall. She exposes Li Xiu's true nature, tears up the 'Map of Water and Clouds', stops the Japanese from obtaining city defense plans, sings for three days and nights outside the city gates to guide civilians to evacuate, and finally completes their 'wedding' amidst the flames with Lu Qingchen.
