Rural Ghost Play: Paper Doll Craftsman

Paper doll craftsman Li Feng travels to Liu Village with a paper effigy, adhering to industry taboos while becoming entangled in the mysterious and tragic death of Liu Zifeng on the stage. Liu Zifeng had feelings for Wang Yuyan, but she was falsely accused by village head Liu Qingshan and the madman Er Lai Zi of stealing a man, when in reality she was pregnant and drowned in a secret pond, with her death falsely declared as natural causes. After the madman went insane and died suddenly, the substitute paper doll began to show supernatural powers after being painted with talismans. Li Feng uncovers the truth behind the mandrake-induced hallucinations and realizes someone is using Wang Yuyan's name to seek revenge. He sets a trap and holds a ritual to lure the mastermind into the open, revealing the hidden secrets of the secret pond and the revenge conspiracy in Liu Village.
