To save his critically ill father, Tian Zhiyong joins the eerie Zhong Bo's cooking restaurant and becomes a late-night food delivery driver. He must deliver meals to 'special customers' like ghosts, encountering a series of thrilling events while getting entangled in conflicts between good and evil mages, disturbances caused by yellow-skinned spirits, and the escape of hell dogs. Secrets about his ex-girlfriend's breakup, his friend's mysterious death, and the truth that Zhong Bo is actually Zhong Kui are gradually revealed.
