She Kicked Down the Door on a Rainy Night

On a stormy night, sophomore Wu Jia meets her crush, Lu Zhou, at the bus stop. While thrilled, the 22nd bus driver, Li Yong, warns her that Lu Zhou is already dead and not alive. Wu Jia dismisses the warning, but after returning home, she encounters a series of eerie events: talisman paper turns black, chopsticks stand upright, and doors are kicked down incessantly at night, as if she is truly haunted by a supernatural entity. With her best friend Zhu Ya's companionship and Lu Zhou's so-called 'help,' Wu Jia begins to believe she is cursed by a 'substitute spell' from the deceased Zhu Ya, putting her life in danger. To find a way out, she seeks help from Taoist priest Li Yong and the temple abbot, only to find herself trapped in an even deeper mystery.
