Northeast Mourner: The Living Forbidden
In the chaotic era of the Republic, every profession has taboos, but mourning stands out as the most sinister. I am Li Qiankun, a 'mourner' who serves the underworld. I earn money from the dead while paying debts to the balance between life and death. My master warned me early on: in this line, mourning the wrong person costs your life, while mourning the right one secures the destiny of your descendants for three generations! The world sees grieving children and grandchildren at the funeral, shaking the heavens with their sorrow, but they don't know that this funeral drama is performed for the living, and this mournful song is sung to heaven and earth, repaying the unfulfilled filial piety of the living and soothing the unsettled hearts of the dead. This is a premium short drama that innovatively integrates four elements: Northeastern folk customs, suspense and deduction, family ethics, and patriotism.
