Sister with the Doll
Two years after the shipwreck, sister Si Xi, officially listed as deceased, suddenly returns with a doll humming a banned nursery rhyme. Brother San Fu notices the "sister"'s eerie behavior and strange supernatural occurrences at home. When he tells his parents about his fear, they reveal that San Fu is suffering from excessive stress due to academic pressure and present DNA reports proving Si Xi is not who she claims to be. As the nursery rhyme's prophecies begin to come true, a curse seems to have quietly enveloped the family. In the end, the truth is revealed: the real threat may not come from the deep sea, but from the unquenchable obsession and the struggle for protection deep within human nature. This series is adapted from the novel of the same name by Zhou Dedong.
